Ohmyhome App & Website UX/UI Case Study

This project was a UX/UI design study for Ohmyhome, focused on improving the relationship between the mobile app, website, property listings, and agent-assisted services.

The main challenge was not just to make the interface look better, but to make the product journey clearer. The business goals were to increase app downloads, drive more website traffic, and generate stronger buyer and seller leads. Based on the existing brand presence and user feedback, the biggest opportunity was to make the app easier for DIY users while still highlighting one of Ohmyhome’s strongest advantages: its agent support.

My process started with reviewing the current app, website, customer feedback, and service flow. A key insight was that the website and app needed clearer individual roles. The website should explain the service, build trust, and push users toward action, while the app should make searching, listing, chatting, and managing property activity easier.

From there, I mapped the ideal user journey around a simple idea: all roads lead to the right support. Buyers should be guided toward relevant listings and agents. Sellers should be guided toward listing support and valuation help. Users exploring promos or other services should also have a clear path forward.

The redesigned direction focused on a cleaner mobile experience with stronger navigation, simpler listing cards, clearer calls to action, better search and filtering, saved listings, map search, inquiry chat, and a dashboard for property owners or sellers. The updated 2026 visual direction keeps the original orange-and-white brand identity but improves spacing, hierarchy, content grouping, and modern mobile usability.

The goal of the redesign was to make the experience feel more direct, trustworthy, and action-driven. Instead of treating downloads and traffic as the only success metrics, the stronger indicator would be increased agent utilization, better user retention, and more confident buyer and seller activity inside the platform.\

Life Coin — Mobile App UI Concept

Life Coin is a mobile app concept designed around the idea of tracking personal productivity, habits, and life progress in a more visual and motivating way. The project explored how a wellness/productivity app could use simple dashboards, calendar entries, and progress graphs to help users understand their daily activity and overall “net life productivity.”

The design uses a bright green and orange color palette to create an energetic, approachable, and motivational feel. The interface focuses on quick visual feedback, simple navigation, and easy data entry, making the app feel light, friendly, and accessible rather than overly technical.

For this project, I worked on the mobile UI design, screen layout, visual direction, icon treatment, dashboard concept, and presentation mockups. The goal was to create a clean app experience that could communicate progress clearly while still feeling playful and personal.

This project also reflects my early exploration of digital product design, where I started combining graphic design, UI layout, user flow thinking, and branded visual presentation into one cohesive concept.

Life Coin is a mobile productivity and wellness app concept focused on visualising personal progress through simple daily entries, calendar tracking, and productivity graphs.

The project was designed to feel bright, motivational, and easy to use. I used a clean mobile layout, bold color accents, and simple dashboard elements to make the experience approachable for users who want a quick way to track habits, productivity, or personal goals.

My role covered the overall UI concept, visual design direction, screen layout, icon styling, and mockup presentation. This project represents one of my early app design concepts and shows my interest in creating digital interfaces that are both functional and visually engaging.

Autopay 2026 — Mobile App UI Refresh

Autopay is a mobile app UI concept for managing car loan payments, vehicle details, and account settings in one simple native experience.

The original project was created as a straightforward mobile extension of an existing automotive finance website. For this 2026 refresh, I reworked the concept into a cleaner, more modern fintech-style app focused on clarity, trust, and faster payment access.

Project Goal

The goal was to make the app feel less like a website placed inside a phone and more like a confident, native mobile product.

The refreshed design focuses on:

Clear loan information
Easy access to payments
Better payment confirmation
Cleaner navigation
Stronger visual hierarchy
More modern fintech styling
Improved one-handed usability

Design Direction

The new direction uses a calm blue and teal visual system, soft cards, rounded components, cleaner spacing, and stronger dashboard-style layouts.

Since the app deals with payments, the interface needed to feel secure, direct, and easy to understand. Users should be able to quickly answer the most important questions:

How much do I owe?
When is my next payment due?
What car is connected to this loan?
How do I make a payment?
Was my payment successful?

Key Screens

Secure Login
A cleaner sign-in screen with biometric access and a more app-native first impression.

Home Dashboard
A quick overview of the user’s outstanding balance, next payment, vehicle details, and recent activity.

Make Payment
A simplified payment screen with amount options, payment method selection, and a clear review step.

Review & Confirm
A safer confirmation screen that shows the payment amount, due date, method, and loan account before final submission.

Payment Success
A reassuring success state with confirmation number, amount paid, payment method, and receipt access.

Settings & Support
A practical account area for security, payment methods, notifications, support, and legal links.

UX Improvements

The refresh simplifies the app around the user’s main intent: check the loan, pay securely, and confirm the transaction.

I kept the original idea of simple main sections, but updated the layout with a clearer dashboard, better thumb-friendly navigation, stronger payment flow, and more polished UI states.

The result is a more complete product experience that feels more aligned with current mobile finance expectations.

Outcome

This redesign turns an older UI concept into a more polished 2026 mobile app case study. The updated direction keeps the original purpose of the app, but improves the experience through cleaner structure, stronger hierarchy, modern visual design, and a more trustworthy payment journey.
